COVID-19 INFORMATION

Updated August 30th, 2023

As protocols to protect against COVID-19 continue to evolve, the Jungle Theater is committed to caring for our people – that includes our artists, our audiences, and our staff. For our 2023 – 2024 Season, masks for audience members are optional but strongly recommended. Additionally, masks will be required for all Wednesday 7:30pm performances. Please note that this policy is subject to change.

One of the Jungle’s key values is caring for our people. That includes our artists, our audiences, and our staff. Making and sharing theater requires close physical proximity, so we are committed to making healthy choices, especially in these uncertain times of Covid-19.

As restrictions lighten across the Twin Cities, the Jungle still strives to care for our people. As of October 1, 2022, the Jungle Theater strongly recommends and encourages that audiences wear a mask in the theater and lobby spaces. Masks and proof of vaccination or a negative test are no longer required to attend any Jungle performance.

Recent survey data suggests that 99.5% of Jungle Audience members during our 21-22 season were fully vaccinated. Our staff and artists are required to be fully vaccinated, and the cast regularly tests for COVID-19.

Our staff and artists will continue their requirement to be fully vaccinated, and the cast regularly tests for COVID-19. The Jungle will continue to provide hand sanitizer throughout our facility, require masks for our front of house employees, and continue to run our MERV-13 filtered HVAC units to ensure consistent airflow.

We ask that if you feel sick, please stay home, even if you have tested negative for COVID-19. We are happy to waive exchange fees for anyone who is feeling unwell to best protect our audience and team from illness. We will continue to review these protocols regularly. Up-to-date information will be shared on jungletheater.org/covid19-information.

Currently we are selling all performances at full capacity. As further health and safety guidelines are released, we will adjust protocols as necessary. Seating will be available starting 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance.
