Dinner For One

Directed By Christina Baldwin
Co-Created By Christina Baldwin, Sun Mee Chomet, Jim Lichtscheidl
Music Direction By Emilia Mettenbrink

Featuring Jim Lichtscheidl, Joy Dolo, Tyson Forbes, Christina Baldwin

December 6, 2025 - January 4, 2026

Based on an iconic slapstick comedy sketch and New Year’s Eve tradition in Europe for over 60 years, DINNER FOR ONE tells the story of a butler helping his employer celebrate her annual dinner party. Unpredictable mishaps and a little too much wine result in a hilarious evening full of physical comedy, improvisation, music, and human connection.

Audiences can’t get enough of Miss Sophie and James...and Sir Toby, Admiral von Schneider, Mr. Pomeroy, Mr. Winterbottom, and of course, Whiskers. For it’s third season, DINNER FOR ONE will combine some new friends with its hilarious improv to make each performance unique - and as precious as a box of hand-blown glass!

We hope you join us this holiday season for a comedic and heartfelt celebration of love, found family, and live music.

FROM THE PRESS

"Dinner for One is every bit as wonderful when going back for a second helping. In fact, the indelible performances by Chomet and Lichtscheidl felt more nuanced, more finely tuned than I had remembered, which is an extremely high bar to have surpassed..." READ MORE | Talkin’ Broadway

PAY AS YOU ARE TICKETS

Our PAY AS YOU ARE pricing system asks our ticket buyers, “How are you able to support the Jungle right now?” when buying their tickets. Instead of dictating prices based on where your seats are located or how in demand a show might be, we allow audiences to choose how much they pay based on their financial ability. Ex: If you’re able to pay $85 a ticket and would pay that price elsewhere around town, we ask you pay that price here, and recognize that the value of your ticket reflects not only the high artistic quality of the work, but the support of your community.

We don’t want ticket prices to keep anyone from engaging with the work we do. The theater is a place to escape, to expand, and to come together-- and we never want the price of a ticket to bar our community members from engaging in these valuable experiences.

PAY AS YOU ARE tickets are available for $15, $25, $35, $45, $55 (Market Value), $65, $75, $85, $95

Phone: 612.822.7063
PAY AS YOU ARE tickets available October 30 at 4:30pm
