Code of Conduct

By purchasing a ticket or entering our environment, you agree to the tenets of Jungle Theater’s Code of Conduct.

We are in this space together — and it belongs to all of us!

We want every person who walks through the Jungle’s doors — patrons, staff, and artists — to be able to show up and feel fully seen and valued.

We are committed to being a racially, culturally, and socially just organization. This commitment includes creating an environment wherein all people are welcomed into our theater and are treated with respect and dignity by all whom they share the space with. We are particularly invested in the experiences of those who are part of marginalized groups that have been and continue to be excluded from theater spaces.

Physical threats or harassment of any kind as well as discriminatory comments, verbal harassment, or microaggressions based on age, gender identity or expression, race, sexual orientation, disability, citizenship, religion, or national origin will not be tolerated. Additionally, if you share your opinions about our productions, fellow audience members, policies, artists, or staff on-site or online please refrain from offensive or demeaning language. Anything that needs to be said can be communicated while respecting others’ humanity.

Live theater is a wonderful gift meant to bring people together and illuminate diverse perspectives and realities. While we acknowledge this may at times feel challenging, we encourage our patrons to respect those whose experiences they may not personally identify with or immediately understand and celebrate various forms of expression.

While we pride ourselves on staging provocative work that elicits strong emotions, reactions, and connections, it is essential that we prohibit harm done in our space. Therefore, Jungle staff reserves the right to refuse service, relocate and/or remove any person from our theater who disregards this Code of Conduct.
